Injured at work? Fallen in a pot hole? Slip & trip?

We can obtain copies of your medical records and obtain a Specialist Opinion on whether the treatment provided to you was negligent. If negligence did take place we can deal with a claim for compensation on your behalf.

Dementia, Alzheimers

Is someone you care for unable to care for themselves? Do you need a Guardianship Order?

Is a friend or relative needing someone to take over their financial and personal affairs. If you are that person you may need to apply to the Court for Authority to uplift pensions, consent to medical treatment, sell or rent property.

Guardianship Order (or sometimes Intervention Order or Intromission of Funds Orders) can be obtained by an application to the local court.

Road Traffic Accident

Have you been injured in a Road Traffic Accident either as a driver or a passenger? If you have suffered injury at the fault of another driver we may be able to assist you in a claim for your personal injuries.

Have you been hit by an uninsured driver? You may be entitled to claim to the Motor Insurers Bureau.

If you have suffered an injury arising from an uninsured driver's fault we can intimate your claim to the Motor Insurers Bureau who should accept liability and process your claim.

Criminal Injuries Compensation Claims

We can assist you with completion of your application and deal with all correspondence from the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority.

Mortgage Arrears

Have you fallen into arrears with your mortgage? Is the Building Society threatening to repossess your house? Do you think given time you can get back on your feet?

Speak to us about a Mortgage Rights Act Application. You may be entitled to ask the Court not to grant an order for repossession against you. We can in some circumstances save your house.

Rent Arrears

Have you fallen into arrears with rent? Is your landlord looking to put you out? Have you been served with a Court action?

We can tell you whether or not this request is reasonable. If it is not we can ask the Court to refuse a request to put you put.

Interdicts

We have all heard of stalking, what can we do about it? Is a partner or ex partner physically or verbally violent towards you?

In Scotland there are all sorts of orders the Court can grant to protect you.

You can get an interdict. This is like an injunction it should stop someone pestering or harassing you.

You may be entitled to a non-harrasment order. You may also be entitled to the protection of a Power of Arrest. This means if you continue to be harassed the person responsible can be arrested.
