Free Wills in Support of St Oswald's Hospice

Is making a Will or updating an existing one something that's been on your to-do list for a long time, but you've just not got round to organising it? If so you are not alone.

Did you know that in the UK, 64% of adults do not have a Will and out of those who do, almost a third are out of date?

Making Your Will During Social Distancing

With social distancing and lockdown measures in place, now might seem like a strange time to make your Will, but in fact, it’s a good time to slow down and take stock. Many people are cleaning out their cupboards and reorganising their garages – so why not do the same with your Will and make sure your affairs are in order at a time when so much else is uncertain?

As Will writing partners of St Oswald's Hospice we can set the ball rolling with an office, telephone or video consultation and even have your Will signed via video call, witnessed by our estate planning specialists.

We have partnered with St Oswald's Hospice to offer you a free Will writing service, so you can plan ahead and protect your family's future

  • All we ask in return is that you consider a donation to support St Oswald’s Hospice, although there is no obligation to do so.

  • The Free Wills for Charity service applies whether you are making a simple or more complex Will.

  • On average, a full process, standard Will with McClure Solicitors would cost £150 for a single Will or £240 for a pair.

By choosing to make your Will through McClure Solicitors

  • We will make your Will free of charge

  • You can consider a donation to St Oswald’s Hospice - of any amount

  • There is no cost to the Hospice

  • 100% of any donation you make will reach the Hospice, helping them to support adults, young people and children with incurable conditions from across the North East
